How to Use the Zoho CRM for Gmail?!

*As of 08/01/2018, Zoho's Gmail integration is supported via Google Chrome, only*

 

Downloading Zoho's Chrome Extension

OR

  • Click 'Here' to download, immediately
    • Click "Add to Chrome" to install
      • Click "Add Extension" for good measure

Creating Leads and/or Contacts

  1. Add "leads" and/or "contacts" via email
  2. Manually create "leads" and/or "contacts"

  1. Open any email using the Gmail "Inbox"
  2. Fill in the blank fields to satisfaction(Extension)
    1. Automatically synced(CRM)
  3. Click "Add Lead" / "Add Contact"

<Chrome Extension Menu>

  1. Click "Home"
    1. Choose "Create New Lead/Contact"
  2. Fill in the lead/contact details
  3. Click "Add Lead" / "Add Contact"
    1. Automatically synced(CRM)

<Email Contact>

  1. Open any email and hover over the contact's email address
    1. Click "Search in Zoho CRM" via the pop-up
    2. If nonexistent, we're prompted to "add"
  2. Fill in the lead/contact details
  3. Click "Add Lead" / "Add Contact"
    1. Automatically synced(CRM)

 

Viewing Contact Details using Gmail's Inbox

<Details populate automatically via Chrome's Extension>

  • Info ~ Primary Information
  • Activities ~ View Tasks, Events and Calls. Open and closed activities can be viewed using filter
  • Deals - Available only if it is a contact
  • Campaigns - View the campaigns assigned through your Zoho CRM account, you also edit the campaign details

 

Email Management

  • Click "Settings" via the Chrome Extension
  • Enter the email adresses
  • Click "Link Email"

 

Adding Gmail/Inbox Details

  • Open an Email(Contact/Lead details available in the extension if they already exist)
  • Using the Chrome Extension
    • Add "Notes"
    • Manage "Activities" (Tasks, events, calls)
    • Manage "Deals" if the "contact" already exist

 

Converting Leads

  • Open an Email(Contact/Lead details available in the extension if they already exist)
  • Click the (More options icon) and then click Convert.
